Believers are consistently called to exercise gratitude. We are made in the Likeness of Christ and therefore God. Does this mean that Jesus could be grateful when we see Him? When we desire to be in relationship with Him? When we return His infinite love the very best way these human vessels know how? When we see and appreciate the sacrifice He made on our behalf? When we attempt to live as He lived, and love as He loved? Attempt to love HIM as He has always loved us?

I’m so grateful for my Heavenly Father. I love Him, and Christ, because They first loved me. I love His Spirit, that allows me to see Him in the first place, Who allows me to know Him.

We see Jesus thanking The Father regularly and we are made in His likeness, and Christ in The Father’s. Jesus exercised gratitude to His Father and calls us to do the same…just as He does.

I’m grateful when someone notices my effort, when I’m seen, although I hope my intention is never in the being noticed. Does this too, honor Him? Maybe? Could it be?

I think so.

Regardless…I’m certain that it pleases Him. He delights in our acknowledgement and returned loved, and I’m grateful He sees me today.

He sees you too.

Me too. I see you.

Love you.

For the Lord takes delight in his people; He crowns the humble with victory. -Psalm 149:4

He will take great delight in you; in His love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. -Zephaniah 3:17
